C-Series Underwater Pelletizer

The C-Series Underwater Pelletizer provides an efficient method to transform a polymer melt into pellets. The pelletizer is typically located downstream from an extruder or melt pump where the melt is pressurized for the extrusion process through the die plate of the pelletizer.
Based on polymer type and viscosity range at the prevailing processing temperature, the die plate and matching knives are custom designed for optimum performance. Other processing and mechanical features include: quick opening cutting chamber to give full access to the die plate, hydraulic system for all opening & closing functions, auto-alignment for cutter shaft to die plate, auto or manual in-feed of knives to die plate.
Farrel Pelletizers are engineered for seamless integration with upstream equipment and control systems with auto-start capability. Farrel pelletizers are sized to meet the capacity of large volume polymer production facilities.
