Other Responsibilities Include: • Prepare required documents for complete projects such as bill-of-material, customer drawings, manuals, vendor specifications and assembly drawings. • Preform engineering calculations for materials, stresses, ratios, clearances and tolerances or other factors. • May be required on occasion to work at a customer facility to assist and advise during the installation and startup of Farrel equipment. Qualifications • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years experience. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. • Strong organizational skills and a true team player. • CAD experience with solids a plus.
Ansonia, CT USATechnical Advisor - ElectricalEngineeringFull TimeWe are currently looking for a Technical Advisor to join our Engineering Department. This position will have a primary focus in the electrical wiring of machinery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide variety of electrical and mechanical service duties including travelling to customer plants for onsite inspections, installations and maintenance of Farrel machines. This position requires worldwide travel throughout the year. Qualifications - Electrical Engineering degree or trade school graduate plus complete mechanical or electrical apprenticeship training or equivalent, or a minimum of ten years direct field service experience.
